About us. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Birds & Bees Project provides comprehensive reproductive health information to youth and adults. The Birds & Bees Project has specific areas of activity, including Internet-based education, classroom-based education, and community outreach. The message in all materials is positive, respectful, developmentally appropriate, and aims to compliment the education and values that people receive from their families and communities. We offer information and values-clarification skills to help individuals make healthy decisions, now and in the future, which are in line with their own beliefs, goals, and social or economic situation. Understanding that education must be integrated into a person's life in order to be useful, The Birds & Bees Project seeks to resonate with the realities of young people's lives, inclusive of all races, religions, ages, cultures, sexual orientations, genders and abilities. In addition, The Birds and Bees Project produces written materials and resources for teens, parents and educators. The Birds and Bees Project is a program of Pro-Choice Resources (PCR). Founded in 1967, PCR is a wide-ranging, grassroots organization providing reproductive health resources and education, and empowering all women and youth to control their own fertility by providing access to reproductive health information and services and expanding reproductive health options for all.
